My Quickie FOTD 

Well, if you have noticed or not, I recently had a haircut. My hair was just too long and the weather is getting out-of-hand lately, its scorching like hell. And also, for the benefit of my Baby Cloud to get all the help and nutrients he can get, I chopped it short. It was a good decision since it felt like a ton of weight had been lifted off my world and I feel much fresher.

Here's a quickie FOTD for you darlings. Its pretty simple and light with a little focus on the eyes.

Besides your hairstyle, your eyebrows frame your face and that's why you should always groom your brows beautifully. I've always like doing my eyebrows. I think whenever you have good eyebrows,  your look is more put together and polished.

I'm an eyebrow pencil kinda girl since its much easier to use but I'm also getting the hang of using an eyebrow cake lately. Now, I've talked about how great Pinkies Collection brand is and how I loved their BB Cream Foundation. Well, the next thing that I love besides their BB Cream Foundation is their Eyebrow Cake which is also a good buy for only Php 169. For that affordable price, you get 2 shades already and mine was EBC-03 which is half blonde, half brunette.

Like I said, Pinkies Collection is a great brand so this time, I wasn't surprised that the cake is highly pigminted, the shade suits me and it stays for hours.

I like using the brunette shade on the center to the tip of my brows then the blonde shade in the front to center of my brows. It blends perfectly. Amazing product!

Le Beauty Diaries: Pinkies Collection BB Cream Foundation

I am a fan of BB Creams. I've been using my Fairydrops BB Cream for almost 3 months now and I so looove it but being the hauler that I am, I always like to try out new things and Pinkies Collection Makeup and its cute pink packaging didn't escape my sight. 

Pinkies Collection used to be known as Pinkie Swear Cosmetics but since they have the same name of a California based makeup brand, they changed their name and logo as well. Pinkies Collection is a sister company of James Cooper Makeup targeted for a younger market. Hence, the adorable pink packaging and its cheaper price. The collection is also made in France.

The brand houses different cosmetics from cream foundation to loose mineral powder to lipsticks but their BB Cream Foundation (30ml) is the most talked about item from their collection.

They only have 2 shades for their BB Cream Foundation and mine was BBCF-01 which is the lighter shade of the two. 

To be honest, I was not expecting much from this BB Cream Foundation since it was only Php 299 but boy, I was wrong. The coverage surprised me. It has a great coverage. It covered my acne spots, redness and even the scar on my forehead pretty well and it doesn't feel that heavy. The consistency is quite thicker than the usual BB Creams and the shade was not grayish or whitish at all. It was definitely a bang for the buck kinda buy and would absolutely purchase this again.

The only thing is that they claim it to be a BB Cream when it doesn't say in the packaging that it has any skin benefits at all. Its actually more of a foundation than a BB Cream. So if you're looking for an spf or a whitening effect then this is not what you're looking for but still, I love it for the amazing coverage and shade alone.

Le Belly Diaries: 24 weeks

Hello darlings!

I have not been blogging for almost forever since there had been way too many things that happened this month. From the fiance's admittance in the hospital (He's fine now.. Thank God! :] ), check-ups and what-nots and a wonderful wedding of my dear friends, Cris and Jay. 

I was pretty much preoccupied the whole month as you can tell. And as much as I am a busy bee, my little bubba in my belly is also as busy as me or probably even much busier than I am. My munchkin is getting bigger and rounder by the day. So cute! And according to my trusty iPhone app, What To Expect Pregnancy, my bubba is already as big as an Eggplant (9in, 1.7 lbs). Yay! 

 

We were supposed to have an ultrasound last weekend to determine the gender of my baby but we weren't able to go to the hospital. Getting it done by this weekend though. I'm super excited!!
